In the 19th century, Tai Hang residents started performing a dragon dance to stop bad luck, typhoons, and plagues from affecting their village. A "Fire Dragon" was built from straw, which then paraded through the streets for 3 days and 3 nights—and the bad luck was gone. Since then, this tradition has been carried on every year during the Mid-Autumn Festival. In this tour, you'll experience the remarkable tradition of Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance Show! The tour starts with a visit to the busy local town of Sham Shui Po for traditional cakes, street markets, and toys. You'll also experience Victoria Park Carnival, the largest lantern carnival and lantern display in Hong Kong, before enjoying a Peking duck meal. This tour is perfect for friends and family—including the kids!
