Palace of Versailles Tour with Skip-the-Line Ticket

andre was our tour guide, he was excellent. he explained the versailles palace and the history of king louis XIV. the palace itself took around 1.5 hours to just do a walkthrough. but the gardens was massive. we only went to the dragon fountain and then we walked back. the gardens is so big, you need around 4 hours just to walk the whole place. theres small golf cart for rent, this is a faster option to get to all the fountains.

the guide tour make this trip meaningful for us that do not have a background on french history. She explain and give the background story of the rooms that we visited and the paintings that we saw in the palace.

It was an incredibly enriching experience, particularly for those who have a passion for science and a fascination with the vast wonders of space. The thrill of exploring the cosmos and delving into scientific concepts made every moment exhilarating and memorable.

A spot became available on the morning of the day, so we were able to make a reservation. We were able to easily find the meeting place and the guide's flag. We had to leave our strollers at the cloakroom, but the guide accompanied us and supported us. The guide was always concerned about us and was very kind.

Our tour guide was excellent and expertly managed to manoeuvre our group through the multitude of other visitors while regaling us with interesting information about Versailles, its history and inhabitants. The statues, artworks and dimensions of the rooms and buildings are spectacular. However, the sheer scale of the structures, the number of stairs and the walking between Versailles and the shuttle to Marie Antoinette’s estate were challenging with my mum’s mobility.

Great guide & memorable trip. I especially love the time management by the guide to patiently & conveniently guiding through the Palace of Versailles in such a huge crowd.

The vehicle was on time, the service staff were enthusiastic, the tour guide explained things in detail, the vehicle was clean, the ride was smooth, and entry to the Palace of Versailles was quick and easy. Recommended!

The tour guide's English accent was too strong and completely unintelligible. There were too many tourists inside the Palace of Versailles, making the experience a bit poor. The weather was too hot, and there was no air conditioning inside.
