Le Journey Elegance 2D1N Cruise: Ha Long Bay & Lan Ha Bay Tour

There were several positives along with a few negatives. The highlight of the cruise was the manager, Tony. He was very friendly and accommodating from the port pickup until the end of the journey. Some other crew members were also hospitable, though the service did not fully match a 5-star hotel, possibly due to language barriers as we often had to use a translator. The food was good with decent variety across all four meals, and they were flexible with dietary preferences. The itinerary was followed perfectly, and the room was spacious and matched the photos. Special kudos for bday setup and cake. On the downside, the hotel pickup arranged through an external company was unpleasant as the guy was quite rude when we were about 10 minutes late and just told he would leave. There were also minor issues like the jacuzzi initially released dirty water. High tea was basic, with just fruits, chips, and coffee. Overall, it was an experience but don’t expect true 5-star service for the price.

Had a wonderful experience with Le Journey Elegance Cruise. The staff were friendly, attentive, and ensured a pleasant stay throughout the trip. The cruise was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The food was not that delicious for vegetarians they didn't have good varieties at all and the overall service was impressive.

We were the only Japanese guests, and we were able to interact internationally with guests from various countries. The kayaking experience got us completely soaked, so wearing a swimsuit is recommended. The lunch, dinner, and breakfast were all delicious, and the crew members were very kind, talking to us using simple Japanese and translation apps, and even printing out the program in Japanese. Their hospitality was incredible. When I wore an ao dai that I bought in Hanoi's Old Quarter the day before to dinner, the crew was delighted, and I was so glad I wore it. I thoroughly enjoyed participating in every single activity.

Thank you to the hardworking staff who made us feel their kindness and warmth from the moment we boarded. Especially Hari, who always proactively cared for us (we had children with us) and always provided the best assistance at the first opportunity! From the room to the entire itinerary, the experience was excellent. If I have the chance, I will come again! My favorite parts were the bathtub and the balcony, where I could relax and enjoy my own time while admiring Lan Ha Bay!

Great service, delicious food, and the staff were incredibly kind. I had a stomachache in the morning, and I was so grateful they provided ginger tea and medicine!
