Our tour guide was Linda, she’s professional and her English is good. Best thing is she’s not pushy when it comes to the jade factory and tea house. Introductory can be a little too short. I will recommend that she brings in the names of the people during her explanation, instead of merely referring as “an emperor” or “an official” to make her explanation more specific. Started off with Mings Tombs which is a disappointment because we didn’t get inside the underground tomb. We were only brought inside the hall and onto the hill with a tablet of the first emperor. It was a short tour there , less than 1 hour. Following, we were drove to the jade factory for jade shopping and lunch. Inside the jade factory, it was extremely boring, nevertheless, lunch was good. We were served Chinese cuisine with about 10 dishes. Next, we went to the Badaling Great Wall. As the cable car was crowded, we were asked to take the cable tram up the Great Wall instead of the cable car. Both transport are priced at RMB140 per pax and it’s not included. The good thing is that section of Badaling is less crowded and offers a better view of the Great Wall. We ended our last itinerary by visiting the tea house. The jade factory and tea house sell their stuff at an overly inflated price. Just don’t fall into those tourist traps!

We went to the ming tombs first, followed by jade factory and lunch at the restaurant inside jade factory. Food was bad. Spent too long in the jade factory and badaling and all the sections of the great Wall were declared closed suddenly due to prior few days of bad weather. The tour group was upset and some time was spent sorting out differing views as some tourists were unconvinced that the wall was closed and insisted to go there to take a look. There was only partial refund for the great Wall tickets and we did not get to see the great Wall, only a bird's eye view from afar. We could have seen the Great Wall if not for the jade factory tour and lunch at the jade factory. Suggest to cut away the jade factory which is touristy. Thereafter we had tea tasting at a tea house. I feel that the prices of the tea are not competitive and kind of exorbitant. Of course, the other tourists will not be aware. Suggest that an alternative itinerary or attraction be provided prior to booking, in case of bad weather and so that the differing views can be resolved. Nonetheless, the tour guide remained processional through the tour despite the unforeseen circumstances

Tour guide was friendly, lunch was great. Don’t really like the shopping part, could locate lesser shopping time in Jade shop.

Our guide Vic was great. We did so much in this day tour and it was so much fun. From going to the Great Wall (although raining), to visiting the Jade Gallery and having a delicious lunch. We then went tea tasting and also visited the Ming tombs. What a great day

The activity was nicely organized and the guide was helpful. I think it is good that there is the chance to visit the Ming Thombs: before visiting Beijing, I was not aware of this interesting attraction. However, at least in July, the Badaling section is completely full. There is nothing that this tour can do except telling people that the price of this tour does not include the 140 yuan needed for the cable car. Moreover, as part of the tour, we stopped at a Jade workshop and at a Tea workshop. As usual in this sort of tours, they wanted us to buy jade and tea at ridiculous prices. The staff at the tea shop was especially rude and unprofessional. I think the tour staff should do something about this behavior because I am not paying to be bullied into a rip off.

Great trip by our tour guide Emily , She give me many advance notice (Via email , via hotel , via handphone) Very responsible. She also help us in many things (take photo , wait for us) I forgotten to give her tips. She done her job very well.

“Ming Tombs” only included the palace and not the actual tomb tour. For the Great Wall, had to pay extra for cable car. These two should have been included. Or just clearly state that it’s not part of the package.

The guide was nice and explained all aspects in great detail. His English speech was not very clear and most of the travellers were unable to understand him well. However, he was very nice and helpful made everyone very comfortable and took care. The lunch arrangements were decent and good. Thanks KLook for all arrangements.
