Reviews
I recently had the pleasure of attending the tour in Zurich, and it was a fantastic experience, largely thanks to our guide, Thomas. Thomas was an outstanding guide. He demonstrated a profound knowledge of Zurich, particularly the Old Town, and shared a wealth of information that brought the city's history to life. His passion for the city was evident and added great value to the tour. The bus tour was thoroughly enjoyable. It provided us with an excellent opportunity to see some of Zurich's historical sites. We also had several stops where we could take photos, which was a nice touch. Thomas made the experience even better by distributing laminated printed copies with additional information about Zurich during the bus ride, which was very informative. The tour didn't stop at just the bus ride. Thomas guided us on a delightful boat ride and accompanied us to the Lindt Museum. He went the extra mile to ensure everyone was comfortable and even offered to escort those who wanted to return to Zurich after the Lindt chocolate tour, knowing the fastest way back. The entire tour was very relaxed, allowing us ample time to explore at our own pace. It struck a perfect balance between guided activities and personal exploration. Overall, I highly recommend this tour, especially with Thomas as the guide. His dedication and expertise made it a memorable experience.
It was just amazing! Considering that you can cruise around Linz and the wonderful lake of Zurich, the cost performance is really great! However, since I was staying overnight in the center, I almost never used the 24-hour train. It rained only on the way back, but it was sunny when I was cruising, so it was very pleasant! When I was being guided around the city, he told me the streets of restaurants, which was very helpful for my sightseeing afterwards! ! ! Lindt is the place to go if you love chocolate! I ate a lot and was able to buy souvenirs much cheaper than usual! ! ! Overall recommended! ! !
It was a great trip with very scenic views from our bus. The bus was comfortable, and our guide, Daniel, was incredibly helpful. He guided us through the entire city, especially the Old Town, explaining the history of the old buildings and architecture. He beautifully described how Zurich is a wonderful city in every possible way. When we visited the Lindt chocolate factory, he also instructed us on how to return to Zurich City. Overall, it was a very pleasant and helpful trip.
The cruise is magnificent and learning about the history during the city tour is also awesome. We choose to stay in lindt factory and not go with the tour guide so we can spend more time there as it was a fabulous place for chocolate lovers. Ohhh and the tour guide is also super funny. We love him, he is so witty.
Good trip for a family. City walk-->Boat trip-->Lindt Home of Chocolate ,the kids also happy to go to the Lindt museums.
Efficiently take a bus to the city and old town of Zurich, take a boat to the Lindt Chocolate Museum, learn about the origin and story of chocolate, and learn about chocolate while eating delicious chocolate. It is really educational and entertaining, and finally leave the museum You can also buy all the classic and new chocolates in one go 😃 You can also choose to stay longer with Lindt, instead of taking the bus back to the starting point with the tour guide, and use the one-day bus ticket to try out various public transportation and continue to explore Zurich.
It’s an interesting guided tour as it combines bus, walking & cruise in one tour! We had a good overview of the city of Zurich and happy time at Lindt Chocolate Museum!!
Monika is an experienced and knowledgeable tour guide who provided a wealth of information and was very kind throughout the tour. The experience starts with a short 40-minute bus tour around Zurich town, followed by a walking tour, a 25-minute cruise, and ends at the Lindt Chocolate Factory. The walking tour was a fantastic way to explore Zurich's Old Town, and the cruise was excellent, with the walk to the Lindt Chocolate Factory being particularly picturesque. Please note that once you arrive at Lindt, the visit is self-guided, and there is no tour bus to take you back. The tour includes a 24-hour ticket, validated before the cruise, giving you the flexibility to either take the return cruise (though the timings are unclear) or catch a bus from the stop outside Lindt, followed by Bus 11 back to Zurich main station.
When you arrive at the meeting point, you will receive a 24-hour transportation pass, then take an express bus and take a guided tour around Zurich. After the bus tour, take a light walking tour for about 20 minutes and then take a ferry to the Linz Chocolate Factory. When taking the ferry, you can purchase a 24-hour transportation pass near the ferry terminal. After touring the Lind Chocolate Factory, you can leave the factory at your own time. I think it’s good value for money~
We had fun going around zurich during this trip but the highlight is the cruise and the visit to the chocolate factory. We managed to go inside and around the place on our own time with free audio plus there's free tasting and chocolates to take home. What a wonderful day!
