Reviews
In the morning, we will arrive in the beautiful Besalu and have a cup of coffee in the ancient city. At noon, we will set off to Rupid and have lunch there. Finally, we will end the tour with a view of the Tarvertet cliffs. The ride is a bit long and it's mostly mountain roads, so people who get carsick should bring motion sickness medicine.
Everything was well organised but it will be cheaper if you rent a car as all the places visited were free. Weather was good and we enjoyed ourselves.
it’s a good experience, we had a great time in a small group, good atmosphere. Our tour guide is enthusiastic and he told us interesting history of the places. Places are splendid and extraordinary beautiful. Also, there were enough free time for ourselves to explore. The tour manage good time and we were getting to city on time.
Firstly, when you see one you see them all. These places look very identical to one another. Besides, these places are non paid venue, if you have a group of people, rent a car and drive to the first one is enough ,just that you have no guide to explain and narate the history and origin of these places. The authentic Catalonian 3 courses lunch was inexpensive and delicious with a glass of wine for €18nett.
I highly recommend Explorer Catalunya. Our guide Rod highlighted many details that would have been easily missed without a guide and his detailed explanation in story form helped us to have insight into the life of Medieval times. The villages are really worth visiting.
