Phuket Coral & Racha Islands Full-Day Catamaran Tour

The staff are all very nice and attentive. I went with my mother. Since my mother has bad feet, she had to walk on a floating boardwalk on the sea after getting off the boat. The staff who got on and off the boat helped me pull my mother to the shore. I am really grateful to them. The day's itinerary was well planned and it was a very enjoyable day.

I appreciated the tour content and the quality of the staff, especially their attentiveness. However, aside from myself and two other Westerners, the tour group consisted entirely of a large group of Chinese tourists, mostly families with children, on a long tour. The entire day was spent in a cacophony of Chinese, with children running around and assigned seating completely disregarded. The guide's explanations were also in Chinese, delivered through a handheld microphone. I was grateful that they took the time to explain things to me individually in English, seemingly out of consideration. It seems Rainbow Tours caters primarily to Chinese tourists. As another reviewer mentioned, it might be suitable for those who enjoy or are interested in Chinese culture. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. Personally, I would do more research before joining another tour. Lastly, the driver who provided transportation was very friendly and easy to talk to, which was a pleasant end to the day.

This company is cooperating with another company called Rainbow. They cater more for the chinese tourist. The guides were mostly speaking in chinese using their megaphone speakers. It was so loud and annoying. They didnt bother to translate whatever they are saying to english despite was told to do so twice. They just nodded and smirked. It left 6 of us non chinese speaking tourists feeling frustated. Finally had to escalate the issue to the management. The moment we entered the waiting area it sounded like a wet market. Chinese tourist always have a sense of FOMO. Not being racist here. They just are. We just arrived and was helping ourselves to some water, a chinese guy just rushed infront of us to get the last 2 slices of bread. So rude. May be should provide option during booking such as 1. Chinese only package or 2. English speaking only package The price is very expensive and it doesnt include the activities at the coral island. Wish they were clear about this in their details. I found cheaper option in klook that includes the activities and goes to Coral and Racha island.Just that it doesnt include the sunset. I choose this package for the sunset. But i felt we got cheated. We didnt get to see the sunset over the waters. The Rainbow people brought us back 30 mins early. I was very very dissapointed with this. Very very sad as well since it was our anniversary trip. Other tour groups from different company got to see sunset over sea and they came 40min later than us. The Rainbow people were rushing us for everything and gave us less time than the timing mentioned in the itinerary. Also, while in Coral island, option for snorkeling was there.However no snorkeling gear was given.Also not mentioned in the details. The island is just as crowded and dirty as the other islands in phuket. And everywhere these tour groups are using their speakers and talking in chinese for the chinese tourists. It was basically had a wet market vibe than calm chill beach vibe. The water activities are expensive and not worth it. Racha Island was beautiful. The sand was nice and clean. But they gave us only 30min there. Snorkeling there was a waste of time. They use soap water for the slides. Since there were many boats there, it made the visibility poor. And these guides feed the fish to attract the fishes to the surface. Even then, there were not many fishes. Becareful to book Thailand Island Hopping packages. These was the 2nd time we were dissapointed.

Warm hospitality, good service attitude, very satisfied with the itinerary, high-quality food, and beautiful attractions. Thumbs up
