What to expect

Doi Live Eel is a restaurant that specializes in Kansai-style charcoal-grilled eel with plump meat and a rich burnt aroma. We insist on using charcoal grilling and provide eels that are unmatched by other restaurants. The meat is plump and tastes great. The sauce used in the restaurant has a wonderful flavor that accentuates the delicious taste of the eel. You can enjoy the aroma of charcoal grilling and the chewy texture of the eel. Enjoy the finest eel in a high-end restaurant with a Japanese-style atmosphere reminiscent of Kinkakuji Temple!

Review for: Full of Eel - Hitsumabushi Course (with reservation)

The service was very good, but the food was not delicate enough. There were too many appetizers, first the fish intestines and liver in sauce, then the fish liver in sauce, then the grilled white eel, and a large piece of tamagoyaki. I was almost full after eating all these, and then the eel rice was served. The taste was good. If the portion was controlled, the experience would be better.
