Australia has been long renowned for its immense biodiversity, with so many species of flora and fauna found native to its wilderness; and some only within its wilderness and nowhere else in the world. Take on the rugged terrain and drive into the thick Australian brush as on a 4WD in this tour that begins with a meet and greet in Kangaroo Island or at Kingscote Airport. Your first stop is Seal Bay, where some of the biggest colonies of the world's sea lions gather. Your guide will be able to give you fascinating knowledge about these amazing water mammals, before you take a break for tea. You will need to recover your strength, after all, before you head to the largest park of the island, Flinder's Chase, where you will be spending a few hours. An abundant gathering of Australia's famous wildlife can be found here. Plow through the forests of Eucalyptus trees all the way to Admiral's Arch, where you can view a large colony of fur seals. You can admire the view of the ocean before you head toward Remarkable Rocks, natural formations which had been formed over the course of 500 million years. Heading up all the way to Rocky River, you'll enjoy a barbecue lunch in true Aussie style: marinated steak, onions, potatoes, and cooked right in front of you, with sides of salad, and a desert of wine-poached pears, and sheep milk yogurt. Once you've been revitalized by the meal, you head out to Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, to meet the adorable koalas that live in the native Tasmanian Blue Gum trees all around. It's a perfectly adorable way to close out your tour before heading back to the airport to finish the adventure.
