Half Day Thai Cuisine Cooking Experience by Chang Cooking School

They kindly picked up from our hotel and allowed us to keep the luggage together! The cooking class team were amazing and sweet also funny hahaha We made 3 main dishes and mango sticky rice for dessert! Preparing and dining area was with AC room yet stove area was with Fan but not too hot. The main host took our photos and shared with us :) Food the results was delicious! Thank you kaa +) before we headed to the class, we stopped by a local market for 30mins individually but there wasn’t a lot of things to see..! not accompanied by a guide.

Glad that I booked this experience while in Chiang Mai because it’s a must-do here in Thailand. It’s a beginner-friendly activity since I'm not good at cooking.

I was worried about other cooking classes because they were too booked or expensive, but this was a newly opened cooking class, but I was satisfied in many ways. First, the professionalism of the instructors. Professional instructors guided me through a fun cooking class in a good location. Second, a good location. The atmosphere of the place is important, and the atmosphere was great, and the cooking facilities were well-equipped. Third, the location of the class. It was located in the center of Old Town, so it was a good place to go to other markets or move around.

The two of us and two other Chinese-speaking students were in a group of four, and were assigned to a Chinese-speaking cooking teacher. The time for shopping for ingredients, preparing ingredients, cooking, and eating was all arranged very smoothly~ After cooking, the four of us shared the food and took photos, which was very fun. The teaching teacher is from a restaurant background, and the overall teaching is great. The food made according to the teacher's steps is delicious. The lady boss is very kind, and the class place is also very clean. The overall experience is great, the price is not expensive, and the CP is worth it. Very high!

I booked a cooking class yesterday for the next day with Klook which was paid and confirmed but the class was cancelled last night at 7.30pm by the school. The school asked me to reschedule but I can't as leaving Chiangmai the very next day. I asked for a refund from the school but they can't pay me because I don't have PayPal so after an hour was advised that Klook will refund me. I was told it takes 1-2 weeks for refund. Please be careful when you book through Klook as refunds may be difficult. Better to book with hotel and pay to them directly.
