The architecture is splendid. The place is so huge but there were friendly staffs everywhere to assist you. Get a copy of the map first to maximize your stay. We only roamed around for about three hours since our day was jampacked but I strongly suggest to stay here for at least four hours. There are various exhibtions that would pique your interest, even those who are not that fans of art would truly be amazed by the different art pieces here. The paintings that I used to just see in my books at school are also here. Thank you, Klook! Thank youNational Gallery SG! :)

lots of wonderful art. make sure to take the English tour. Patrick is a great tpur guide and knows all the artists who donated their work that is on display. his stories make the museum come to life.
  • Thea Marie 11 Nov 2018
Great! Was able to know a little about Singapore’s history & the like. If the Minimalist Gallery was open then, it would be better.

my brother is an artist so we went there for the love of art. we went to see the paintings and happy to see paintings by filipino artists such as juan luna and fernando amorsolo, to name a few. i get to see the paintings in person where i only have seen them in books. the gallery has a nice structural modern design and maze-like.

The Klook discount is great. Although I didn't get to spend much time in the gallery to see everything, it's cool to see they combined two buildings to build the gallery. Plan on spending at least half a day. Start with the lower floors and move to the top. The top has a great view of Mariana Bay Sands.

Excellent museum of Asian art. I especially enjoyed the section of contemporary artist. added bonus: the bar on the roof top terrace with spectacular views as well as one of Singapore's currently best restaurants the "National Kitchen" on the 2nd floor of the museum.

Educational visiting with professional guide tour. It is good start for knowing south east Asia Art with history. By the way, The guide tour may be a bit over run but it is free. It is also contained several restaurants in the gallery for filling you up.
