Took my friend to the Red Chimneys restaurant at the Prudential Hotel for a buffet lunch today. We were seated promptly at 12 noon. The food selection was quite extensive: - Cold Seafood: Crab legs, snails, shrimp, mussels, oysters, sashimi (salmon, tuna, red snapper, herring, octopus, pickled mackerel) - Cold Dishes: Salad bar, cheeses, smoked salmon, Spanish ham with melon, various sushi - Hot Dishes: Roast beef (good quality, not dry), lamb chops, roasted meats, curry, steamed fish, etc. - Desserts: Assorted pastries, Häagen-Dazs and Mövenpick ice cream - Drinks: Various hot and cold drinks, coffee machine The quality was good, and it only cost $268 per person (including the service charge), which is a real bargain!
Use Klook to buy one get one free, plus Dah Sing credit card discount, the price is very affordable. Lunch has 2 kinds of oysters (USA, New Zealand) to eat, no need to queue and can be picked up by yourself, the quality and taste of oysters are good, the meat is plump and delicious; the hot dishes are good, my family praised the grilled chicken wings, grilled ribs and fish, and several expensive cheeses; there are many kinds of desserts, caramel pudding is super good, and there are Movenpick, Haagen-dazs ice cream, tofu pudding, great! In addition, the environment is comfortable and clean, 4 people sit in the booth sofa, the waiter service is professional and considerate, frequently changing plates and helping to take pictures, it is worth supporting and recommending, and I will visit again in the future. Supplement: It would be better if the lunch buffet also has a small cake for the birthday star, because only the dinner buffet has it.
The hotel buffet, the staff of the Red Smoked Window restaurant are diligent and polite, the food selection is not small, there are delicious oysters, crab legs ~ added quickly, all you can eat, the roasted scallops are provided in small quantities, which may take time to roast, and you can drink juice, coffee, and milk tea, which is better than other hotels. You can't get more than one cup. Hot food, salad, sashimi, are all good, and there are desserts, which are also back to the original position, mango twig golden dew, 360 milk is delicious, and there are many expensive ice creams. It is a very satisfying birthday meal. The only drawback is that there is no birthday cookie for lunch. I hope the hotel restaurant can use small cookies instead, because it is just a happy experience, no big birthday cake (only available at the dinner buffet first), the overall cost performance is high!
food is yummy and price not high. location is near Jordon MTR station. You can enjoy shopping in Tsim Sha Tsui after the lunch as it is just walking distance.
Use Exit E at Jordan MTR and go up the escalator to Level 2. Directly facing the escalator is the staircase to Red Chimneys Restaurant. Overall it is has a good and tasty buffet spread from the seafood, roast meat, sushi, sashimi pastries and Haagen Daz & Movenpick ice creams. The restaurant staffs are also courteous and efficient in clearing the plates. I am 100% satisfied with this buffet restaurant.
The buffet lunch has a good selection and variety. If you like raw oysters, you must try it. The hotel offers two types of oysters. Just line up and you can choose them yourself, and you can also freely choose the quantity you like, which feels very good. (You don't have to limit yourself to two per person each time.) The quality of the food is also normal and it is very worthwhile to recommend to friends and come again. Seafood includes oysters, crab legs, mussels, cooked shrimp, and jade snails. There is also sashimi. I say the time-efficiency ratio is super high for this buffet lunch.
The environment is comfortable with bright and clean windows. The staff are polite and the food selection is abundant and delicious, especially the desserts which come in many varieties and are very tempting. The main courses include Chinese, Western, and Indian cuisine. The snow crab claws and sashimi stand are constantly busy. The price is quite favorable. I would recommend Red Chimney to my friends. I will visit again in the near future. It was a very satisfying lunch and left a lasting impression. Thank you to all the hardworking staff for making this meal a wonderful memory.
Just finished the Red Smoked Window buffet on 10/6, and tried the buffet lunch on 12/6. The occupancy rate this time was over 90%. At first glance, the dishes for dinner and lunch were not much different, over 80% were the same. Dinner had crabs but no jade snails, but lunch was the opposite. Dinner had flounder, but lunch had catfish. In short, the impression of lunch was better than dinner 👍👍👍
On the evening of June 10, I went to the Red Smoke Window buffet again. The environment was still quiet and clean, and the occupancy rate was about 80%. The staff service was very good. The iced seafood in the evening included oysters, long-legged crab legs, brown crabs, crayfish, etc. The hot dishes, sashimi, and desserts were all kept at the proper level. This time, each person was given a lobster tail with garlic vermicelli. Overall, I was very satisfied 😋😋👍👍
This time I ate with my daughter, last time I ate with my friends. Meal flavor: Oysters 🦪 can be picked up, no need to take 2 at a time. The worst thing is that there is no crab flavor of long-legged crab, frozen shrimp, snails are fine. This time there is sesame paste sugar water 👍🏼 plus tofu curd, the taste is first-class, not too sweet. Price: a penny a penny, overall high score, straight to come again 👍🏼 Service: friendly 👍🏼 Restaurant environment: seats are not too crowded, comfortable seating 👍🏼
