Get picked up by a private taxi at 6:00 at your hotel in Bangkok or 8:00 in Pattaya, and head to Rayong. Wait for the shared speedboat and enjoy a short 10-minute ride to Koh Samet at 9:30.
Enjoy 5 hours of free time at Koh Samet. The best way to discover the island is by renting a scooter. Drive to viewpoints and multiple beaches with beautiful waters where you can swim as well. Enjoy the island life and order a drink and some food at the beach and come to peace.
Board the shared speedboat to mainland at 15:00. A private taxi will bring you back to your hotel in Pattaya around 16:30 or 18:30 in Bangkok.

Mainly the transportation between the hotel and the pier, as well as the round-trip speedboat tickets. Before the trip, you will be contacted by a cooperating travel agency and a guide book will be given to you. It is recommended to rent a motorcycle to move around the island. The sand on the beach is fine silty sand with a good texture. There is no special place for bathing on the island, unless you are a local guest, so remember to bring your own towel to dry off.

Good to know
- For the shared speedboat transfer to Koh Samet, it will depart if there are enough people. It might be that you have to wait a bit before the next departure, but it will not be too long. This will slightly affect the exact time that you can spend in Koh Samet.
- This is a self-guided day tour where we arrange all the transfers for you for your comfort. There is no tour guide during this day tour, except for the driver at the private car for the hotel transfers. We will send you a guidebook with the whole schedule of the day tour, including tips on where to rent scooter and where to go.
- The driver of the private car speaks a little bit of English, just enough to communicate.
- If you need a quick stop, you can ask our friendly driver during the private car ride.
- Travel time might be a bit longer in case of heavy traffic in Bangkok.
