Private Car Tour: Chengdu Leshan Giant Buddha/Mount Emei 1-Day/2-Day Private Car Tour

Booked this after realising that it’s more worth it for 4 people to share one car vs 4x return high speed tickets + 4 Didi rides. One day before the trip, the tour operator, Taylor, contacted us via email and communications were done swiftly through Wechat. Our assigned driver, Yan Jiangang also contacted us to confirm our preferred itinerary. Our day started at 6AM and ended at 8PM back at Chengdu. We managed to cover both Mount Emei and Leshan Buddha, although 3/4 time was spent at Mount Emei (take note that this car service does not drive up to the cable car station). Overall, we’re pleased with the punctuality and service excellence, and will recommend. Do note that this service does not include the bus tickets, cable car and entrance tickets to Mount Emei.

I visited the Leshan Giant Buddha and the Oriental Buddha Park. Although the driver only spoke Chinese, he used translation to explain various things to us. It was a very comfortable trip. The Leshan Giant Buddha and the Oriental Buddha Park are connected, so you can see them together. We preferred the Buddha statues at the Oriental Buddha Park.

hectic trip but driver professional and car clean and comfortable for 4 people. Highly recommended. Mount Emil is tough with shuttle bus and snowy grounds. Leshan Buddha was a bit overrated! overall a good experience

the Klook team sent Wechat message a few days before the tour and gave valuable tips when purchasing tickets for the 2 sites. the coordinator answered very promptly even when i sent a message to enquire something near to midnight timing. the driver reached early and was very courteous, kept within speed limit and drove safely. Leshan was quite fast to complete but it's Emei that one has to take another 1.5 hour internal sightseeing bus ride and then climb quite a number of steps for 1 kilometer before reaching the cable car station to go to the summit, and then climb a number of steps to reach the top. do train your stamina before going to Emei!

Mr Xian is friendly and helpfull. The SUV car is clean and spacious.
