Notre Dame Cathedral with Island tour

The first time I traveled to Paris alone was in 1998, when the World Cup was being held in Paris, and the city was filled with enthusiastic football fans and tourists from all over the world. After 27 years, it is now 2025 and I am visiting Paris again with my beloved wife. For this trip to Paris, we specially arranged a tour of Notre Dame Island and tickets to the Sainte-Chapelle. The tour guide was wearing a red suit, which was very eye-catching, and his conversation was witty and humorous. We strolled leisurely on the Ile de la Cité, which was very romantic. The melodious bells of Notre Dame soothe people's hearts, and the colorful and shining stained glass of the Holy Chapel are truly worthy of their reputation, making people linger and leaving behind beautiful memories.

Highly recommended. Interesting tour with lots of history. We had the tour in English and the guide speaks very well, he is also a very nice and positive man.

Enjoyed the Notre Dame walking tour thoroughly and our guide Angela was amazing, she made sure everyone got her attention, tried to explain people who had difficulty understanding English and didn’t leave anyone behind even if they didn’t follow her instructions.

Great guide, very friendly! It’s wonderful to see all the history of Norte Dome and the surrounding areas. The tour guide has pictures to show us, and the Norte Dome church is amazing to see from the outside. We would love to see inside as well, if we have the opportunity and there isn’t a long queue.

I misread the advertisement and thought that this was a tour of Notre Dame and Saint Chapelle, and I wasn’t the only one who did so. The tour guide Rodolfo took us on a long walk around the island and shared information about the history of the buildings and the people who inhabited them. However, he was very hard to hear and often didn’t wait until the group had caught up to start talking, meaning that those people in the rear missed out. We were left at the entrance to Saint Chapelle and then had to make our own way back to Notre Dame, and the very long queue, though it did move quite quickly. It would have been better with an audio system so that we could hear the information being shared. I don’t recommend this tour for people with any mobility issues, due to the amount and pace of the walking tour and the number of steps to climb up and down.

Our guide SAEED was amazing. His wealth of knowledge about the city and the way he explained made the whole experience great. We are glad to have had the tour with Saeed. he was courteous, helpful, narrated the info with great passion and it was fun.

We had porridge that day, and the tour guide patiently explained the history, which made me feel the difference of France. I was amazed by the glass in the auditorium, which was perfectly preserved.

Notre Dame and Saint Chapell Tour is very informative. Feels like a crash course in French History. Our guide Saed is very knowledgeable, approachable and friendly. Highly recommendable.

The title of the tour was a little misleading for me. I was under the impression that the tour would allow us entrance into Notre Dame however, it did not overall, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of great information about Notre Dame Island.
