Value for money! This is 2 hours away from Seoul so going on a tour and being able to visit multiple spots is money worth. Our tour guide Genie is exceptional! He's very caring and make sure we are always enjoying the sights. This is a small group tour as well, only 6 people so it is very comfortable.
The tour guide Mr. YOHAN is super nice. He provided a value lesson to tourist with details information about the history of South and North Korea. And he is super helpful and initiative in helping to take photos for us, help us to order meal and provide any service based on our necessary. Both the one day tour and his great contribution gave me a perfect day.
Guide Yohan was on time at the meeting point. The service was very good. It was a small group tour using a van. It was very good. The tourist spots were beautiful as in the pictures. The atmosphere was very good. The staff at the location were friendly and helped take group photos. The lunch restaurant they took us to was also delicious. The tour price was not expensive. It was worth the money. I highly recommend it.
I highly recomend this tour. The hantangang river is stunning but be sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothes. The trek from the entrance to the end of the columnar joint is 3.8km and we managed to reach up to 2km..Goseokgeong garden is vast and really beautiful. We also had the beautiful sunset at haneul park. Sabrina our tour guide is the best. If I could give her a 10 star for the excellent service, I would. This tour is highly recommended!
Thank you for our tour guide Sabrina. She is a very nice person and good in driving. This trip can give you a chance to take a lot of good pictures. Remember to bring a nice hat and apply sunscreen cream, because the sunshine join your trip together. :D
I honestly did not know what to expect in this tour but I was intrigued by Hantan canyon and Nari Park. I was told by our guides that this is a relatively new tour offering and I am glad to have come accross it. The tour groups are smaller which helped make it less intimidating. The Hantan Canyon was a bit of a trek initially but the views make it worth it. Also don't be too scared as a lot of seniors were able to go with the path. The flower park and Nari park are really beautiful and worth the walk in the sun. Our guide was James and he contacted me a day prior to confirm details of the tour. He was very helpful in making me feel safe and comfortable in the group especially since I am a solo traveller. Lunch recommendation was also great! James also had good music playing in the car and had good tidbits about the tour and stories about Korea and life in general which helped pass the time in the transit. Takes good pictures too. Overall if you are looking for something different from what you usually hear about Korea, are a nature lover and don't mind a bit of exercise then I highly recommend this trip. Props again to our guide James!
our tour guide Lio from Lecirt tour is wonderful Korean. He can speak very good in Chinese and English, and he take care my elder parents very well during the trip. It is a wonderful tour to visit these 3 area, and be manages the time very well and introduce very great local restaurants for our lunch. we are very enjoy the trip with him. The view is very is very great, and it is very recommended to visit if have time.
It was a great experience. Whether it was riding the Suisan Monorail, looking out over the DMZ from the observatory, walking along the Hantan River glacier and the ice walls and ice sculptures, it all added a lot of wonderful memories to this trip. The tour guide Gienie Kim was also great. He was very considerate and took care of the tourists throughout the trip. He also explained the history of the Korean War and the division between North and South Korea in great detail. When we looked at the DMZ, we had a deeper understanding of the turmoil and helplessness behind it. I really want to give Gienie a big thumbs up
The DMZ tour was incredibly interesting, largely thanks to our guide, Apollo. He was exceptionally knowledgeable, didactic, and professional throughout the entire experience. His performance as a guide was truly outstanding. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in history—and if you go, be sure to request Apollo. The experience simply wouldn’t be the same without him.
Gienie was a passionate guide who obviously loves this part of Korea and has alot of personal experience and stories to share. the history of N/S Korea became real to me during this tour. it was -10 deg C not counting chilly winds and that affected how much we could have enjoyed the attractions more, but Gienie made sure we were kept comfortable as much as possible. he took pictures for us on his phone and sent them to us after. I liked that it was a small group of 8 pax only so we dont have to wait around and felt more intimate. the lunch at GiWaJib which apparently is a very popular restaurant during the warmer months, was delicious and well worth the price. I also liked that it was a different angle of looking at the strained r/s between N/S Korea than Panmunjeon tours. The visit to UNESCO site was wonderful (other than the cold), it was a beautiful valley even in winter. there was an artificial frozen waterfall there too. I will come back during spring and autumn to see the flowers bloom! :)
