Immerse yourself in the history of French royalty and Renaissance ideals by venturing forth into the Loire Valley, an architectural heritage where three famous châteaux are seated: Amboise, Chenonceau and Chambord. A luxury air-conditioned minibus will pick you up from your accomodation in Paris and bring you to the valley. From there, you will get priority access and go on a self-guided tour! Put on your headset, plug it into the audio guide, and learn about the history of the valley, the châteaux, the people who lived there, and the Renaissance ideals that were prevalent back then, all while walking through the halls of each châteaux. The first of the châteaux that you will visit is Château d'Amboise, the castle where King Charles VIII lived and died in. The next is Château de Chenonceau, one of the most visited castles in France, known as "The Ladies' Castle" since most of its occupants were aristocratic French woman like Catherine de Medici and Louise Dupin. After exploring the second castle, you will take a break at the Orangerie restaurant, where a scrumptious French meal of your choice from the menu will be served to you. The last castle you will explore is Château de Chambord, the largest of the castles in the Loire Valley, built by Francis I back in 1519 with assistance from the legendary Renaissance man, Leonardo da Vinci. After exploring these legendary halls of French royalty, you will be taken back to your accomodation by the same minibus where you can sit back, relax and relish your adventure.
