Cairo Citadel & Coptic Church Half-Day Guided Tour

We had a great tour at the Citadel and Coptic Cairo and enjoyed every part of it.It was very conversational — we exchanged insights, and our guide Salma Ahmed answered our questions clearly.She was friendly, knowledgeable, and explained the history in a very interesting way. Thank you!

Salma ,was a true delight of a tour guide. Her professionalism and vast knowledge is a true reflection of her passion and dedication to her field . She took her time to explain everything to us and to walk us through the process. She is a very gifted tour guide that is both flexible and helpful. When we asked for her to take photos of us she did without any hesitation. She offered suggestions , she is approachable warm and friendly. Selma has a sweet nature and her confidence and command of the English language is fantastic. Her warmth and enthusiasm is a true reflection of the Egyptian people . Selma , is a true gem and I would recommend her to anyone that is visiting Cairo . Do yourself a favor and explore Cairo and Egypt with someone that will make you feel welcomed, comfortable and make you feel like a friend.

Our Coptic Cairo & Cittadel tour with Amin was just as fantastic as our time in Giza. He has a wonderful way of explaining history that feels natural, respectful, and easy to follow, especially in a place as rich and layered as Coptic Cairo. Amin’s English is good, and his calm, funny & approachable nature made the entire experience feel relaxed and personal rather than rushed or scripted. He answered questions patiently and made the history feel meaningful and accessible, turning what could have been an overwhelming visit into a really enjoyable learning experience. Once again, it felt like a fun history lesson rather than a formal tour engaging, memorable, and thoughtfully done. I would absolutely recommend requesting Amin if you’re visiting Cairo; he truly elevates the experience. p/s: we travelled with our 5 months old baby and Amin made it so easy for us to stop for diaper change and BF privately too. accommodating to young children!

Excellent trip thanks to Ahmed for arrangements also recommendations from where to shop and detail analysis of all the spots with great lunch buffet place and Egyptian history also driver was very much safe driving and arrived on time for pick up. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The best trip I had in Egypt. The tour guide, Mr. Mohamed away, is taking good care of us. He is very experience and explain the details and history very well, a 5-star tour guide. I am so pleased to see the churches and old historical places in Cairo.

It was a fun trip. The guide gave good explanations and the time was used efficiently. The food was served as a buffet, so I ate plenty. They picked me up at the hotel in the morning, and since I had time left, they dropped me off wherever I wanted, so I was able to secure the free time I wanted.

Salwa was very kind to us the whole trip. She was flexible to our requirements as we had some logistical needs.

Sasa, our guide was lovely and together with Ahmed, our driver took us everywhere and explained to us everything we needed to know. Definitely recommend both of them

Our guide Salwa and our driver Mohammed Abu Ahad were great. They took us to all major Coptic Cairo and Islamic Cairo sites and Khan El Khalili shopping area. Very good experience.

worthy experience, Ahmed take us to the best places in Cairo city. Patiently and detailed he explained to us about every historic place. Also he take us to the best places to buy good and cheap souvenirs. I highly recommend this tour.As a first time tourist i think is an indispensable experience. Thank you Ahmed was an amazing tour.
