Gosaikunda Trek

In addition to being a breathtaking lake with great mythological importance, Gosaikunda Lake is a wonderful place to go trekking. One of the primary characteristics of the 4,380 (14,370 feet) elevation in the Rasuwa District of Nepal's Langtang National Park is the alpine freshwater oligotrophic lake, which serves as the primary source of the Trishuli River.

This lake hike is suitable for people who have limited time and want to see more in a short amount of time. October through June are the six months that the lake is frozen. The beginning of this walk is at the little village of Dhunche, Rasuwa. Of course, the most amusing part of this lake excursion is the designated scary lake.
