Jinshanling Great Wall Full-Day Trekking Experience with Transfers

Fabulous day with a very knowledgeable driver, 高大鹏！ Driving was smooth, we got there earlier than expected and best of all there weren’t very many visitors at all. highly recommend this site, your and driver! he also gave us lots of tips for other tourist destinations around the city.

We had a fantastic day yesterday on our Jinshanling Great Wall experience. Our driver Gao Dapeng arrived early to our hotel and was freindly and polite,. The drive is about 2 hours and we used a translation app to communicate, he was very informative as he gave us some history of the areas we drove through and the wall. The Jinshanling section of the wall is really spectacular, we walked the 2 1/2 hours to the east gate which is highly recommended but requires decent fitness to attempt. The Gubei Water Town was interesting but the highlight is definitely the wall.

I had the pleasure of having Tian Fei as my driver for my trip to Jinshanling Great Wall, and I couldn't be more impressed! Our driver, Yu Yongtai, arrived early to wait for us at the hotel. He was very flexible with the schedule, polite, and attentive. He provided water for us in the car and even had an extra coat available if needed. He used a translator to communicate with us and recommended interesting places to visit in Beijing. The journey from Beijing to Jinshanling took approximately 2 hours (with no traffic). Upon arrival, Yu took care of purchasing our tickets for the Great Wall and arranged the shuttle bus for us (100 CNY per person, paid separately). We enjoyed our visit to the Great Wall and safely returned to Beijing. Yu even gave us a souvenir to remember this trip. Thank you, Yu, for making this journey so enjoyable!

田伟 was really flexible and accommodating. He arrived early at the hotel and drove us to the destination safely. He had snacks and drinks in the car. Following our trip to Jinshanling, he checked if we would like to add an itinerary to simatai and guzheng. It was for a fee, but he wasn’t pushy about it at all and I had actually wanted to visit this place so it was a good thing for us. Tianwei also settled the tickets and logistics. We managed to stay and watch the sunset at jinshanling because the timing was flexible, unlike many other packages I saw.

The driver/guide was friendly and helpful as we have a toddler coming along. The journey was a smooth one and the lunch he brought us to was sumptuous and tasty…worthwhile going the extra distance to see Jinshanling portion of the great wall although it’s further away…there is definitely much lesser crowd and the views are majestic…we can take pics without other ppl inside the picture.

Unforgettable Jinshanling Great Wall experience—seamlessly hosted by Chen Qinhe! Visiting the Jinshanling section of the Great Wall was an incredible highlight of my trip! If you want sweeping, dramatic views and a much less crowded, authentic feel than Badaling, this is the absolute best spot to go. What truly made the day stress-free was our driver, Chen. He was fantastic from start to finish—incredibly polite, punctual, and thoughtful enough to stock the vehicle with water and snacks. While Chen doesn't hike the wall with you, he made the entire journey completely seamless. He made sure I knew exactly where to go, and knowing he was just a text message away for anything I needed gave me total peace of mind. Thanks to his top-tier service, I could just focus on taking in the views and tackling all those stairs!

The driver, Hung Wai, was very good. He explained sites on route and on the return journey. Also at The Jinshanling Great Wall he got our tickets and told us where to meet at the end for him to pick us ip. We would highly recommend Hung Wai and this Private Transfer to Jinshanling Great Wall from Beijing.

We had an amazing experience with Jack. He picked us up at the hotel on time, drove smoothly and explained everything with the translator. We visited the Great Wall with almost noone around. He even recomended a traditional restaurant with homemade food really good. Lifetime experience that we would recomend to everyone!

Jinshanling was exactly what we wanted to experience. the Great Wall was just amazing, and very few people. Even in August summer vacation, we were alone almost everywhere in the wall. The scenary was breathtaking. Absolutely worth the 2h 20m car ride. The service of Yu Yongtai was absolutely perfect. He was very friendly and his instructions were clear. Recommended in every way.
