What to expect
【Lake Toya Fireworks Festival】 On summer weekend evenings, Lake Toya hosts a fireworks festival where you can see the blooming fireworks reflected on the lake surface. The Lake Toya Fireworks Festival is held from late April until October.

【Showa Shinzan and Bear Ranch】 The bear ranch, located near the entrance to the Showa Shinzan Ropeway, is home to over 100 purebred Hokkaido brown bears. Brown bears are the largest wild mammals in Hokkaido.

Its surface elevation is 84 meters, and its average depth is 117.0 meters, with clear water. Lucy is the most dedicated and responsible tour guide I've encountered in recent years. From departure to our return home, all the itinerary explanations were incredibly clear, allowing us to travel with peace of mind. Lucy provided us with a wealth of knowledge about Hokkaido's history, culture, and culinary scene, ensuring that we not only relaxed comfortably on the bus but also enjoyed comprehensive and fascinating commentary. Our bus driver was also extremely conscientious, with excellent driving skills. He maintained stability even on winding mountain roads. For long-distance bus tours, a reliable driver is essential, and today's driver truly showcased the meticulous and diligent side of the Japanese people. I am very satisfied with this tour, and the itinerary planning offered exceptional value! I will definitely participate again in the future! I also hope to specifically request Lucy to be my five-star tour guide! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Participating in the "Lake Toya Fireworks Festival & Lake Shikotsu & Bear Park Day Tour" was absolutely worth it! The entire day's itinerary was incredibly smooth, and the transportation was punctual and comfortable, offering exceptional value for money. I especially want to thank our tour guide, Chen Ling. Her explanations throughout the trip were professional and engaging, and she was very attentive to the needs of the group members. The biggest surprise was her special recommendation to experience the day-trip hot springs at "Lake Toya Manseikaku Hotel." The hot spring facilities at Manseikaku were truly fantastic! Soaking in the springs while enjoying the stunning views of Lake Toya instantly melted away all fatigue—it was truly the highlight of the trip. After the hot springs, watching the spectacular Lake Toya Fireworks Festival was the perfect end, leaving both my mind and body completely satisfied. I wholeheartedly recommend our guide, Chen Ling, for her professionalism and thoughtfulness! I will definitely sign up again if I have the chance!
Traveling in Japan on your own can be incredibly expensive, not to mention the travel time. Booking a Klook tour is definitely the most convenient option! Our guide, David, sent reminders beforehand and kept us entertained throughout the trip with his humorous and insightful commentary on the sights and their history. The other members of the group were punctual, well-behaved, and cooperative. Today's itinerary included Lake Shikotsu, Showa Shinzan/Bear Park, Lake Hill Farm (for milk ice cream!), the Lake Toya observation deck, and the highlight: the Lake Toya Autumn Fireworks Show. Before the fireworks, David pointed out nearby dining options and a foot-soaking onsen, among other facilities. He also helped us find the best photo angles at each location and took pictures for us. I was extremely satisfied with this tour, and it made me love Hokkaido! I definitely want to come back and highly recommend this excellent tour group! 😊
I love the places we visited specially the lakes and Lake hill farm, however the fireworks is underwhelming and we waited for almost 3hrs for that. Our tour guide Grace is reallyy nice i’m the only english speaker in our group and she translates everything for me.
Sally was our guide for the day. She was so sweet to inform me via whatapp, sorry for the lack for follow up since my whatapp was on my other phone. She was informative about our tour ahead. Lake Shikotsu : As you can see, it is so beautiful with the colour of the water. Wind was rather strong the day. Kinda pity that we didn't manage to sit on the boat for underwater viewing. However View / Wind is awesome. Bear Farm: To be honest, it was something out of the ordinary. I did not went in as I was also busy shopping around. We also stop by the local ice cream maker farm. We happened to have a free tasting of some of the ice cream there. The view was fantasic. There seemed to be helicopter services but there might not be sufficent time. Lake Toya: Another beautiful area. We went by the observatory to have some nice photo. The height and view are beautiful. Shops were closed by the time we went there. Last and not the least was the Lake Toya fireworks. Thank you driver and sally for getting our boat tickets and waiting for us when we alight. There were alot of people up on the boat, so it would be better to find a slot earlier. Fireworks are set off at different sides of the hotel area. It was definitely a good view when you can see them all while boat is moving. We were fortunately it was the special boat and not the usual boat for viewing.
This tour was amazing. Lake Toya was such a beautiful, peaceful place, with nice hotels overlooking the lake. The fireworks display was fantastic. Take the sunset cruise for a better experience. I guess to really enjoy Lake Toya, staying there for a few days would be much better!
My family and I had an awesome experience. The sceneries at Lake Shikotsu and Lake Toya were breathtaking! The fireworks were spectacular too! Our tour guide, David, is friendly, helpful and very professional. He speaks fluent English and Putonghua. He explained our itinerary, what we should expect, and shared interesting stories of Hokkaido. We highly recommend this tour!
our tour guide, grace, was very informative. she shared lots of information regarding the places we visited. the tour was nice, although the fireworks display was kinda underwhelming.
The Lake Toya Fireworks Tour is an interesting itinerary full of beautiful scenery. In addition to experiencing the night fireworks viewing on a boat, you also go to Lake Shikotsu and Showa Shinzan. The weather in Daoyang in early autumn is sunny and refreshing. The tour guide Grace Zhou is very professional, considerate and responsible. She contacted WeChat the day before departure to confirm the pick-up point and time. She also slightly adjusted the order of the itinerary so that tourists can enjoy the scenery at the best time. For the free ice cream provided by the farm during the itinerary, I chose Lanzi grape, which I found to be more delicious than the usual Haagen-Dazs and Chunfanbi. This is a worthwhile trip with deep experience value.
we had a wonderful time, good chinese speaking tour guide, Mr Leo. Timing is good, bus is good. The only setback is the firework place is abit dead after 7pm
