Miyajima Aquarium Ticket

Beautiful aquarium! It seems small, but it's actually full of things to see! The tanks are beautiful and spotless, every animal has its natural habitat, and the information signs are also in English! Even better is the daily program of attractions and shows, which is varied and not repetitive, but still allows people not to miss a show! There are also interactive tanks suitable for children and the more curious! Truly beautiful!

Regarding tickets for attractions in Miyajima, some visitors mentioned they had QR codes, but there are also instances where you need to access a website online and show the ticket from there. There are many marine animals, and the dolphins, in particular, are adorable. For reference, baby dolphins have a spot behind their fins. It's also cute to see the three family members swimming together. You can even witness a dolphin birth, touch penguins, and watch them waddle around, which is also charming. The 15-minute sea lion show is also worth seeing.

On Miyajima, it's a great place to pass the time. It's not crowded, and while it's not very big, there are adorable penguins you can take pictures with. However, they are kept in a box, so you can't touch them. There are also sea lions (?) that you can pet!

The entrance fee is ¥1420. You can conveniently purchase tickets on the spot using Klook when you arrive at the aquarium and use them immediately. The staff will assist you in pressing the purchase voucher, which is very convenient. The aquarium is not very large, with a total of two floors, but the exhibits are very rich, including sea lions, otters, penguins, stingrays, octopuses, etc. There are also hot spring fish that will help you eat the dead skin off your hands for free, which is very interesting. There are also many shows, feeding sessions, and interactive activities, making it good value for money.

Nice & compact but interesting aquarium tucked in a corner at the beautiful Miyajima Island. Definitely give it a visit if you’re there! Took my time & loved every minute, especially at the bigger tanks & the live outdoor shows. An easy nice scenic stroll to get to the aquarium too.

Aquarium was a little gem. Very well presented, plenty of room to move around and view the aquatic sea life in the Seto Inland Sea. there is a small kitchen that prepares food to order and not too expensive. We were there for the Sea Lion show and the 3 seals we saw seemed well cared for. Booked through Klook as we didn’t want to use cash, very easy for a first time user.

It’s a great aquarium that’s close to the main tourist spots in Miyajima. It is arranged in such a way that we get to see many perspectives of the aquarium. first from the top view, middle view, until you get to the bottom floor where there is an ocean floor view. we were also so lucky to witness the live show with the seals.
