What to expect

You won't waste any time getting to the experience; after getting picked up from your hotel, you'll head straight for the famous Blue Grotto, where you will be provided with safety necessities such as life jackets and snorkeling outfits. Listen carefully to your professional instructors as they'll provide you with absolutely valuable information about your upcoming swim, what to do and what to remember while underwater, and how to keep yourself safe during the experience. Then it's time to dive in, as you're led by the instructors through this splendid swimming hole. With the water's stunning clarity, you'll see a near-mythical underwater world, maybe even glimpse sea turtles (which tend to frequent the waters). Insider Tips:
- Please ensure that you carefully waterproof your mobile phone, adventure camera and/or other devices before taking them with you to the activity
- Please wear the skidproof shoes in advance and remember to hold tightly when moving down the railings and ropes along the way. Be mindful as you're walking down to the water, as the steps are wet and slippery
- The cellular and WiFi signals around "The Grotto" are very unstable and unreliable. Please make sure that you stay close and follow your guide and instructors, as otherwise you will get lost
- Please inform the tour guide to send you photos by phone at the end of the experience if you opt for the free underwater photography service. You can also opt to have the guide email the photos to you when you get back to hotel if you forget to bring your phone
