Candlelit Dinner Cruise with Live Music in Budapest

It was an excellent boat tour experience. Since it was a summer tour, starting at 7:45 PM, the sunset hadn't officially begun. This allowed me to experience Budapest and the Danube River in daylight, at dusk, and at night. Luckily, I was traveling alone, and my table was arranged on the upper deck of the boat. This meant I could fully enjoy the scenery without worrying about the live band being too loud. The staff thoughtfully opened the glass windows on the upper deck when the temperature was warm, allowing us to fully enjoy the view and take photos without glass reflections. As night fell and the temperature dropped, they proactively closed the windows. They also provided blankets for guests on the upper deck, which was very considerate. The meal was also very good, and the welcome drink portion was generous, so there was no real need to order additional drinks during dinner. The overall experience wasn't cheap, but it was definitely worth the price.

A most delightful start to our holiday in Budapest. We set off during sunset & returned in the twinkling lights of night. I loved seeing the changing light & the beautifully lit up buildings around the Danube. Quite magical! The happy music set the tone of a most enjoyable evening of delicious food, attentive service & wonderful ambience. This is definitely an experience not to be missed! I would happily repeat this the next time I’m in Budapest.

After arriving at 6:30, we waited in the waiting area for boarding and started getting on the boat around 6:45. It was a full house that night, but the service was okay, with enough staff. After boarding, there was a welcome drink, followed by a 4-course meal, including an appetizer, soup, main course, and dessert. The food quality was decent, not amazing, but the experience was 100%. The boat has transparent glass, the scenery along the way is beautiful, and the night view is 100%! There was also a live band singing, the atmosphere was on point!

The food ingredients are good, freshly ordered on board, and the chef can meet the needs of all passengers in a short period of time. It's amazing... Of course, the service staff are also very good. Five service staff have to prepare drinks and 4 meals for about 60 passengers in 2 hours. Ordering food...busy up and down! The crew was also great. We had to pass the Capitol 4 times and the time was right to get back to the dock at 10:45. It was really great👍 I liked the live piano performance and singing very much. They were all my favorite songs and the singing voice was very nice!

Danube river cruise was wonderful especially in the evening when the buildings lit up. The dinner included was quite decent.

The welcome drink is champagne, and other drinks are not expensive. The bread, appetizers, soup, main course, and dessert are all delicious. The itinerary is from 7pm to 9:30pm. The indoor glass boat has live music accompaniment. It is very romantic to enjoy the Capitol on the boat.

During the cruise, you can have a panoramic view of the Danube River on both sides, which is very shocking. It is very atmospheric with live music performances. The dinner was not too Hungarian, but the taste was good. The price was not expensive for the quality and was very cost-effective. The waiters were also friendly and polite.

I am very happy to have participated in this trip. This is the most romantic meal I have ever had. My other half also likes it very much. The food is delicious. The live music accompaniment adds to the romantic atmosphere and the night view of Budapest is perfect!

It was a wonderful evening. We had a great time taking a glass-roofed boat cruise on the Danube, enjoying delicious food and wine and admiring the beautiful scenery along the coast. The biggest difference from a simple river cruise is that it is inconvenient when the weather is cold, but in the cabin you don't have to worry about the low temperature and rain. The 2-hour trip ended quickly with live music, and the overall feeling was very romantic.
