Reviews
I highly recommend this tour if you love being in nature. Plitvice National Park is huge and though we only covered just a portion of it, it still required quite a bit of walking, about 8 to 9km, so wear comfortable shoes and bring hiking sticks if you need them. Our guide walked with us the whole way and waited for everyone a check points before proceeding. He was very informative too. Rastoke was a lovely first stop, a small village with waterfalls and windmills leading up to the grandeur of the national park.
This activity is for "Rastoke & Plitvice Lakes National Park". The meeting point is at the Ethnography Museum, and the entrance ticket to Plitvice Lakes National Park is included in the tour. After boarding, the tour guide provided a detailed introduction in fluent English about the day's itinerary, the order of activities, all important precautions, and the ecological and historical background of the attractions along the way. They also distributed portable audio guides that transmitted wirelessly to the group's headphones. Overall, the tour proceeded very smoothly and successfully. However, please note that the total walking distance throughout the day exceeds 5 kilometers, and the elevation gain is over 100 meters. Ensure you have sufficient stamina. It is recommended to wear hiking sneakers or boots, bring enough food and water to replenish your energy, and carry light rain gear and warm clothing for unexpected needs.
Had an excellect tour despite a brief rain. Our guide Maja provided us with vast insights to the history of Croatia during our ride and she planned out our route well at the lake to avoid the crowd and queue. A job well done Maja👍
absolutely loved the trip even though the walking was really challenging at some points but the views were worth it! our guid Mateo was very knowledgeable and shared many interesting facts about the entire national park as well as the country’s history.
you should not miss getting the chance to visit Plitvice Lakes National Park. it is a must see. pictures don't do it justice. and if you're in Zagreb, you must get this tour. and if you're lucky enough, you will have Petra as your guide. she was awesome, knowledgeable, funny, and kind. the perfect tour guide
The weather wasn't great that day; it rained lightly in the first half, but Plitvice Lakes was beautiful after the rain stopped. This tour requires a certain level of physical fitness, as you'll be walking a long way. At first, I thought the tour guide was walking too fast and I couldn't take my time to enjoy the scenery and take pictures, but later I realized that the entire lake area is very large, and this pace was necessary to complete the tour. The main attractions had some time allocated to stop for photo opportunities. If you can't drive yourself, I still highly recommend joining this tour. You can bring some food with you, although there are places to buy it at the rest stops, but be prepared to queue for both purchases and restrooms.
Our tour guide Petra is good. well knowlagable to the history of Zagreb. all place that we visit is so worth it. I will definitely recommend this tour to my friends to see how beautiful the Croatia.
The most beautiful place in the world. Heaven on earth. Our guide was excellent. There were 8 of us in the group and thanks to our guide we avoided the crowds. It was an unforgettable day.
Our thoughtful tour guide provided detailed explanations along the way and was attentive to each member's needs. From morning until evening, they were dedicated and their professionalism was truly reliable. This day trip was a satisfying experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in a guided tour of Plitvice Lakes.
The trip to Rastoke and Plitvice lakes was well organized. Enough time was allocated for each location. At Plitvice lakes, the guide took us to walk the lower and upper lakes. it also included a boat trip. it was time well spent except it was very tiring. we walked more than 20000 steps.
