What to expect
Ta Cu Mountain, with an elevation of 649 meters, is located near National Highway 1A in Thuận Nam town, Hàm Thuận Nam district, Bình Thuận province, Vietnam. Formerly a volcanic mountain, it has now been developed into an ecotourism area with the TTC Ta Cu cable car being a prominent tourism project in the province. Ta Cu Mountain is also a well-known spiritual destination, attracting numerous visitors.
The climate around Ta Cu Mountain is pleasant and cool throughout the year. In spring, you’ll witness vibrant yellow apricot blossoms and red silk cotton flowers blooming on the hills, along with refreshing streams flowing from the rocks, creating a serene natural landscape .
Two notable pagodas, Linh Son Truong Tho and Ong Doan, adorn the mountain at an altitude of approximately 400 meters. Linh Son Truong Tho is alternatively known as Ta Cu Mountain Pagoda or the more colloquial "Above" pagoda, distinguishing it from the "Below" pagoda, which is Long Doan.
Together, these pagodas form the Mountain Pagoda. Furthermore, atop Ta Cu, one can witness pristine natural scenes featuring colossal trees capable of accommodating 4-5 individuals, babbling streams, and more.
As per a survey conducted by the Forest Planning Institute, Ta Cu Mountain hosts a rich biodiversity, with 178 animal species and 77 rare herbs identified in its environs.
To reach the peak of Ta Cu easily, you can take a round-trip cable car from TTC World Ta Cu at the base of the mountain and admire the stunning view of Ta Ku Mountain along the route.
