My wife and I had a fantastic time at this cabaret show! The venue is quaint and the show doesn’t disappoint. Several of the performers walk around prior to the show to introduce themselves. A free drink and a picture in kimono attire is included in the cost. We went to the 5 o’clock show which allowed us to get dinner in the area afterwards. It was a wonderful evening.
Such a fun show. The dancer walked around before the show and introduced themselves! Then there was a photo opportunity wearing a traditional jacket. They then told stories through their dance which was eat to follow along without the need for words! I had such a nice evening!
What an amazing and fun show this was! I was blown away by the stage design and by the performance of the dancers. I found it to be such a clever mix of traditional Japanese influence and modernity. Interacting with the dancers and being able to try on some of the costumes before the show for photos was also a very nice, if slightly awkward touch. 10/10 experience.
The show is not your conventional Japanese dance performance. It was a great mix of traditional and modern dance, with a storyline. When we first arrived, each of the lady performers met and chatted with us. It was a nice gesture and we got to know them at a more personal level. As we bought the VIP tickets, we got the chance to take a group shot with all the performers. Overall very entertaining and enjoyable experience!
A super show! It combines traditional aspects with more modern ones and tells different stories. Since there is no spoken dialogue and communication is only through facial expressions, gestures, dance, and instrumental music, this show has something for everyone.
Fun time with really energetic actors. Be aware, as I didn't see it here, the time listed is when doors open. The show starts about ab hour after. They also serve food, but only take orders until 15 minutes before show starts.
The show was amazing. The performers were so friendly, and they came to welcome and took picture with the guests. Highly recommend this show if you want to experience Japanese cultural dance. Overall, best 👍
My husband and I were visiting from Australia and booked easily through Klook. We attended the cabaret theatre last night for our last night in Tokyo and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The dancers came up and greeted all the groups, everyone was so kind and accomodating. The theatre performances ranged from fun and exciting with an awesome laser show moving through to a wonderful demonstration of story and culture through theatre. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Japan.

“Asakusa Kaguwa,” a Japanese entertainment dance show that can be experienced in the heart of Asakusa. Traditional Japanese characters such as Oiran, Geisha, Ninja, and Samurai will deliver a “non-verbal show” incorporating dance and acrobatics. The charm lies in the world view of “tradition x innovation,” which fuses traditional beauty such as kimonos, fans, and Japanese umbrellas with modern music and lighting. Vegetarian-friendly light meals using pizza, fried chicken, and soy meat are also available for order. Regular seats come with one drink, and premium seats include all-you-can-drink until the show starts. Even if you are not taking photos, we recommend arriving 15 minutes before the show starts for smooth guidance.
