Jeju Korean Culture Experience: Hanbok & School Uniform Rental, K-Beauty & Photoshoot

This time we booked the modern hanbok rental + makeup + photography service! Before making the reservation, I had seen their Korean clothing style and photos on IG, and I really liked them, so I decided to choose this one. After making an appointment, you can also communicate with the store through WeChat, which is a very convenient process. The two young ladies in the store are super friendly and professional. They will recommend suitable Korean clothing styles according to our temperament, and also help us match couple outfits with very coordinated colors. I love it! After changing clothes, they will also help with a simple hairstyle and hair accessories. Girls can also choose a small bag. The overall combination is perfect! The only pity is that my feet are too big, so there are not many shoe choices 😂 Remember to wear white socks, which are easier to match with shoes! The makeup artist is very meticulous, the base makeup is close-fitting and natural, and the facial features are brought to the maximum three-dimensionality! The eye makeup is also super delicate. They applied false eyelashes on me in bunches. My eyes immediately looked big and lively. I am also very satisfied with the lip makeup. Although I was worried that my lips would be too thick at first, I found it was just right after taking the photos. The proportions of my facial features were perfectly adjusted. I highly recommend the makeup artist! ! Not to mention the photographer, you can tell his talent just by looking at the photos! I specifically told him that we wanted to take photos that looked like wedding photos, and he really tried his best to guide us in the movements. He also provided a few retouched photos, which I was very satisfied with. Recommended for those who want to take photos of Hanbok in Jeju Island! The service is attentive, the attitude is friendly, and the finished product is super beautiful. It is worth experiencing once❤️

This was definitely one for the books! Everyone there was friendly and welcoming, excellent client service. They speak English well so it made things way easier. The store manager helped me pick a hanbok that suited my preference. There were so many beautiful and elegant ones, but I went with something simpler. The makeup artist was so good to keeping the look natural, which I really appreciated since I’m not into heavy makeup and detailed hairstyle. The photographer, Mr. Han was so funny and professional. He guided me through the poses. Ms. Sunny was also so sweet and kind to assist. Overall, they made the experience an easy and memorable one. Even the store owner was very welcoming. A must-try experience in Jeju. 🤍🫰🏻

Best Hanbok experience! Although spring came a bit late this year, I still felt happy and blooming. Didn’t think I could pull off a light-colored hanbok but I tried and I loved it. Everything from the hanbok, the makeup, and photography made my trip to Jeju worthwhile.

We made an appointment for two people to take photos and do makeup and hair. My boyfriend and I were both satisfied beyond our expectations! The store is located within a five-minute walk from the photo-taking location (you need to pay for the entrance ticket to Muguanya by yourself). Everyone in the hanbok shop can speak Chinese and English, so there is no problem in communication. What surprised me was that I couldn’t choose between red or turquoise hanbok at the time, so they did a color test for me. I was surprised and satisfied with this service 👍🏻 For the makeup and hair part, girls braid their hair + put on makeup for about an hour. They can choose the headwear and small bags they want, and the store will help recommend them if they can’t choose. Boys don’t need to use their hair much, and a simple makeup will take about half an hour. I feel the makeup done by the makeup artist is very fitting, I want to learn how she does it 😆 Then comes the photo shoot, the photographer is very professional and guides us on how to pose, the whole photo shoot process is very relaxing and fun, there are outdoor and indoor shoots, they will send the photos to you by mail about three days later, we got a total of more than 500 original photos, and another 30 retouched photos! The following photos are all original. My boyfriend and I feel that the retouched photos don’t look like us very much, but the original photos are great. I was really surprised to get so many photos. This experience was really good. If you go to Jeju Island, you can really take photos as a souvenir!

Highly recommended! The owner and the staff are attentive and helpful. They can speak English and most importantly they have available hanbok for all sizes (especially plus size). They even provided extra hair accessories that were not included in the package. Overall, me and my friends are very satisfied.

I highly recommend this hanbok store 👍🏻 I decided to experience hanbok in klook book only 2 days before my trip. Since there were 11 people in my group, I had too many questions to ask, so I used WeChat to contact the relevant stores. Fortunately, the staff knew how to communicate in Mandarin and answered in detail. All my questions. In addition, this package includes high-end Korean clothing options. The clothes are very beautiful, and makeup and hair design are included. Although the headdress requires an additional charge, the effect is very good! What I also want to praise is that the original package only included one photographer and 100 photos, but later the store saw that there were more of us, so it arranged for an additional photographer. The photo shoot included not only group photos, but also individual photos. Finally, more than 300 photos were attached to us, most of which we were very satisfied with~

Due to itinerary changes, i had to postpone my booking to a day later and the owner was accommodating. We communicated via Wechat and it was very easy. I also enquired for photographer service (payable in the shop) to shoot for us and the photos were so beautiful! If you wish to have make up, pls also inform early to owner as slots are limited. My parents had a fun time dressing up as King and Queen while me and husband dressed up as princess and scholar. Some dresses need to top up a bit more (eg King's robe), head gear, but it was OK for us. Photographer brought us to the nearby government office (5mins walk) for the shoot and it was beautiful. Highly recommend for those who wish to wear lovely hanbok at great service. Btw this is my 3rd time wearing hanbok and must say one of the best shop with great range of dresses, head gear and they even have shoes! 😊
