Balwangsan Cable Car from Seoul: Scenic Highland Views&Forest Trails

This is the best one we have booked from Klook so far. Yoon was our driver/ tour guide and he was prompt, polite, helpful and very knowledgeable. We started the ride and he said my first and utmost priority is your safety so I will drive carefully and that set the mood, keep us at ease and made the trip enjoyable and fun. Mt. Balwangsan and Samyang ranch are both really great addition to places to see while in South Korea. My family and I don’t ski but we love winter so experiencing snow in these spectacular places were definitely icing on top in our 2026 winter vacation. I’d like to recommend Yoon and I hope Klook books them more as I have been to many places and booked Klook many tlmes but this trip was by far the best one yet. We really felt we were taken care of. At some point we were given extra time for lunch and they were very patient with our group since we have 2 small children. Thank you again!

It was magical! Stunning sights of mountains from view point of Mt Balwangsan and also from the view point of Daegwallyeong ranch. It was breathtaking. And not to forget the bus journey, with its beautiful scenery along the way. Our guide of the day was Ms Lena. She was attentive and she conversed in English well too! She wad just lovely and even prepared seonmul for all participants. Not forgetting our driver was prompt and skilled. It was a comfortable ride to and fro. Sugo-haesseoyo!

This was my favorite tour in Korea so far! The Balwangsan Cable Car ride was amazing, and the view from the mountain was absolutely beautiful. We had so much fun playing in the snowy field—it felt magical. We also really enjoyed the Samyang Ranch tour, especially the animal feeding experience, which was such a highlight. Yoon, our tour guide, was the best—friendly, attentive, and made the whole day even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

The snow mountain trip was amazing! Our guide, Lena, was not only knowledgeable but also took great care of us, making us feel comfortable throughout the entire trip. There were constant little surprises throughout the itinerary, especially the cable car ride at the foot of the snow mountain and feeding the alpacas, ostriches, and birds - it was all so enjoyable. Full marks, definitely worth coming back! Many thanks to our guide, Lena! She prepared gloves and feed for us~ so thoughtful! Her photography skills are also great~ we made some wonderful memories~ Lena, unnie, saranghae~

There were only few snows when we went but the weather was freezing ! The two tour guides Mac and Joey were really fun and liven things up. Joey always makes the effort of even scooping up a few snows for our photo ❄️

our guide tour Michael is very kind and friendly person, he helps us to take photo, and even sing a song to us, give us a very nice vibe. The view we go is very beautiful, the wind so heavy, and so cold. Btw, the food Michael suggested to us is very delicious! Overall feeling great today

This is our first ski trip and it was fantastic, thanks to our guide and instructor, Jun! Learning to ski wasn’t easy—the boots were heavy, and balancing was tricky—but it was so much fun. Jun is really friendly and took the time to help us gain confidence and even extended the lesson to support our progress. The trip was well-organized, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend Jun and this tour! ⛷❄️

due to strong wind, we were unable to use the cable car. but we had a blast at the sledding. it was fast and cold, but really fun! not much we can do as there was so many people (it was public holiday) & locals want to spend with their families. the ski team still can proceed, while we enjoy the ground view. thanks to Sky (tour guide),trying to give the best. we are only humans,the weather are uncontrollable. we totally understand & appreciate your kindness. they even gave a refund 🥺 kamsahamnida!
