We met at the trail cafe at 9 o'clock, had drinks and set off. While I was drinking, I checked my helmet size and even adjusted the height of my bike seat after receiving it! Guide Lek started from the front and kept giving directions with his hand, constantly checking to make sure we were going safely. Alleyways that I would never have been able to go to alone, a blacksmith shop, a local market (Muong Mai Market, he even bought me fruit. He taught me about fruit prices, how to choose the right ones, etc. like a father), and a Wi Khun steamed bun shop (he introduced me to the steamed buns, saying they were sold in the old style, steamed buns, of course). I bought it ), and also went to the Khanom Croc store next door! He stopped by many places and told many stories. (He explains things in an easy-to-understand manner so that even people who aren't good at English can understand, so you can just give it a try, everyone!)
For those unfamiliar with Chiang Mai, scheduling this tour on your first or second day is a great choice. The guide will take you on an in-depth exploration through the streets and alleys of the ancient city, and also visit local markets to buy cheap fruits and food. The guide is mindful of our driving safety and is enthusiastic about taking photos and videos for us, which was a wonderful experience. Thank you, Kom!!
At first I wanted to go to Khlong Mae Kha, but it was awkward because of the distance from the ancient city. So I saw this half-day bicycle tour through Klook, and this was one of the spots! Don’t hesitate to sign up now. The itinerary was led by two handsome guys, P'Kom and P'Tum. One was in front to guide the direction and explain the scenic spots, and the other was behind me to ensure that I would not fall behind, and would add explanations from time to time. The two tour leaders really made me feel safe~ Two of them had herbal drinks and ginger soup cooked on the spot, which I loved. Unfortunately, the accompanying drink packages were sold out. The Khlong Mae Kha government has transformed it, and both sides of the river have been turned into cafes where many people come to check in. I heard that the lantern show at night is very beautiful (the tour leader Zhong Googled it on the spot). If you want to see the night view, I suggest you sign up for the evening tour. I like the tour leader to introduce various local ingredients and flowers and plants in the market or on the road. Although my English vocabulary is limited and I can’t understand some parts of the history, the two elder brothers tried their best to Google translate it to me to ensure that I understood it. They walked all the way and introduced me to this and that, even the flowers and plants planted in front of their houses. He took me to walk through the streets and narrow alleys, and I saw a lot of different scenery. I was very happy~🥰 He also gave me a keychain with a silver temple pattern, I like it~ The weather in Chiang Mai is now close to 40 degrees, and it is very hot even in the morning tour , Thank you for your hard work, two team leaders. At the traffic light intersection, the tour leader even asked me to hide under the shadow of the traffic light pole. Hahahaha. I was confused at first as to why I was asked to go up and block the sidewalk, but he said it would be cooler under the shadow. I was amused. This little shadow is a drop in the bucket at 40 degrees. But I am also very grateful to the tour guide for his consideration. The itinerary is very interesting, and the two tour leaders are also very funny and considerate. I recommend this route! However, it is recommended to book a night tour in summer.
We had an amazing half day adventure city bike ride with Vivi as our guide. The tour was above and beyond what we expected. The silver temple was amazing, and what a treat to see the artisans doing their metal art. We visited so many interesting places and Vivi was so great and so gracious. highly recommended!!!
The tour is quite adventurous and relaxing at the same time. biking around 12-15Km and Exploring the unknown spots inside and outside of the old city wall. Visiting the silver temple ans the canal is the highlight. The guide is supportive. Lunch is delicious. definitely recommend!
guides were amazing and I felt very safe under their care cycling throughout the city. also shared quite abit of the history and secrets of Chiangmai. definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Chiangmai for the first time.
The tour guide will explain the whole process in English and take you to every corner of Chiang Mai. It is very safe to ride with the tour guide. You will pass by the local vegetable market and experience the local market style. The tour guide will explain the history along the way and use a single-lens camera to take photos for tourists🤳. A link will be sent to passengers for downloading after the trip (valid for one month). The trip time is from 9 am to 12:30 noon. You will ride back to the original meeting point to enjoy a free drink in the store.
I highly recommend this trip and will 100% repurchase it. Thank you very much for all the arrangements. The tour guides are very enthusiastic and considerate. When you arrive and check in, you will be given a cold drink, which is very touching in the scorching heat of Chiang Mai. Although there were only two groups of people this time, they still explained the itinerary in detail and cared about everyone at all times. Attractions on the way, lively tours, shuttle through the ancient city, and explore more local culture. We also prepared pineapple and mango sticky rice and drinks, which was very touching.
I am more than happy with the tour. Our guide, Tiew tirelessly showed us the streets of Chiang Mai. He also let us tried some dishes bought from local market. Highly recommended.
Highly recommended experience! Only my husband and I participated that day, so it was like a private tour. Our guide, Kom, was meticulous and professional! He took us through different unique places, provided very detailed explanations, and also helped us take many beautiful photos and videos! If you enjoy cycling and want to go to places you might not know how to get to on your own, quickly join this tour, you won't regret it!
