Take a breather from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo when you go on this breathtaking trip to the highlands of Hokuto. Meet up with your trip conductor at the Shinjuku Station before kicking off your day. Before you go up to the highlands, rest a bit as you stroll through the grounds Seisenryo, a well-known accommodation spot that includes both Japanese and Western-style rooms. When your 30 minutes are up, you'll be taking the train up to Sun Meadows Kiyosato Highland Park. Cool down when you get to the top and refresh yourself with a natural lunch buffet made with ingredients fresh from the highlands themselves. Once you're all filled up, head to the cafe located up the park, Kiyosato Terrace. There, you can walk through the area or just sit back and take in the amazing views from the height you're in. Afterward, you'll be given some free time to do some shopping at Yatsugatake Cheese Cake Factory, famous for their, yes cheese cakes! Before you end your day in Shinjuku, drop by a farm located in Yamanashi City to eat and pick the yummiest cherries for all you can (do the most you can within 30 minutes because you aren't allowed to take them out!).
