What to expect
Have you ever seen Korean traditional painting before?
Minhwa is traditional Korean folk art especially produced during the late Chosun Dynasty by unknown artists who were not trained. It was used for everyday use and decoration. You might see this at temple. But you saw just a little part. For example, when you look at flowers in the painting, Peony implies Wealth, Lotus means richness. What about painting your own beautiful Korean painting? It will be really unique experience you ever had in other countries. While tour guiding I always bring my painting to show for better understanding. Foreign travellers really appreciated it and they applauded me for the beauty. I will introduce the process and some skills. You might find out your potential talent!

Minhwa (peony flowers and rock)

The objects in the painting represent longevity (peaches), the best of health and happiness (ceramic)
