This informative tour whisks you away from the high rise modernity of Seoul to all the way to Korea's past Goryeo Dynasty. A day trip to Incheon's Ganghwa Island (or Ganghwa-do), this tour lets you learn about the rich culture and history of this ancient location. Your travels kick off with a visit to the Sochang Experience Center and do many activities such as handkerchief making (a Korean tradition), hanbok wearing, learning about Goryeo's history, and even a paragliding virtual reality experience. You'll be taking a break for lunch and after that, it's off to Ganghwa Anglican Church, a two-storey building characterized by its traditional Korean construction style on the outside with interiors built in a Western Basilica style. It is said to be Korea's first traditional church. Take another break with a warm cup of coffee or tea provided during your tour before heading to Pyeonghwa Observatory, where you can take a look into the elusive North Korea. Kimchi-making is up next, and when you're done with this activity, you can take home one whole kilogram of kimchi for free! Lastly, unwind with some shopping and haggle with local merchants while searching from cool souvenirs to take home with you!
