Osaka Kimono/Yukata Rental & Photo Experience (Provided by Sakura Kimono Oukakimono)

I love the entire experience!!! I booked the 10am for couple but we went there earlier at 9:30 and they immediately accommodated us! Picked our kimonos and started dressing us up. The staff were very nice and helpful!! I got to pick out my kimono, belt, hair accessories, hairstyle, purse, and umbrella! i just paid 1500 yen additional for the hair 🤗 It was so quick and my hair turned out sooo good!! Our photographer met us at the store and guided us to the temple nearby. We took so many photos, he guided us very well! 30mins photoshoot with Katsu and we got the photos that same day! GREAT EXPERIENCE! We went to Osaka Castle by ourselves and got so many compliments from locals and tourists! We returned the kimonos at 2pm. Highly highly recommend!!

We booked the couple kimono + 30min photoshoot plan. It was a bit tricky to find, so I’m adding photos — it’s on the 7th floor and you take your shoes off as soon as you get out of the elevator. The staff were really friendly. I added the extra ¥1,500 hairstyle and loved it, they had nice options and it was quick. Just a heads up, you don’t really get a private changing room — if others are there, you’ll change together down to bra/underwear to put on the undergarment. They prefer you to pick your kimono/yukata fairly quickly but will help match accessories. Ladies get a fan, umbrella, and purse; men get a bag for wallet/passport since they don’t want valuables left behind. The photographer was great! He has his own car and asked if we had a spot in mind — we said to take us where he recommended. We went to 3 places, he helped us pose, and we got the photos the same day around 10pm. At the end he asked for ¥1,000 cash for parking. A lovely experience and I’d definitely recommend it.

The location is close to Nippombashi Station, and it was easy to find, about a 9-minute walk from Dotonbori. They speak Chinese, Japanese, and English, and the staff were very kind. The Chinese-speaking staff member was also incredibly friendly. It was a great experience for a good price, and I'll definitely come again. Renting a yukata for about 24,000 won per person was a delightful experience. The location is on the 7th floor of the Shiba Building.

I ordered a basic kimono/yukata online, and although the selection of dress was limited, I was able to choose the one I preferred. I definitely plan to come back here again next time! I made a reservation for 9:30 AM and used it with a couple's reservation with my daughter. It was nice to be able to choose the kimono accessories I wanted as the first customer. All the staff who helped were very kind and made sure I had a good time until the very end. I used it with great joy at a good price. I highly recommend it to those who want to make special memories.

Absolutely beautiful and so worth the low cost! The staff was super friendly and even helped us choose the kimono designs, bags, and hairstyle accessories that would best suit us. You can even borrow the sandals along with it. Even with the basic hairstyle, you are free to pick as many hair accessories as you want and they do it entirely for you. At the end, they even give you freebies (cute keychains/figurines). The kimonos were also very comfortable and beautiful!

the shop had a wide variety of kimonos to choose from. staffs are accomodating and can speak good english. love the way they did my daughters hair. shop is highly recommended

what an awesome and exciting experience to do the Osaka Kimono. All employees are nice and they helped me and my husband to choose kimono. The photographer is so sweet and had a lot of patience with us. When we got done, the employees from the rental place had gifts for us. I highly recommend to have it done on your visit to Japan…especially if it is your first time.
