What to expect

Trang An Eco-tourism Site, an integral part of the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, is located in Ninh Binh Province, approximately 90 kilometers south of Hanoi. Encompassing an expansive area of over 2,000 hectares, the site boasts a captivating blend of waterways, limestone karsts, and caves.

Trang An, Vietnam, showcases a geological marvel dating back 250 million years, characterized by limestone mountains that harbor diverse ecosystems, including flooded forests. This picturesque landscape also features archaeological and cultural relics. In the 10th century, Emperor Đinh Tiên Hoàng strategically selected Trang An as the southern protective barrier for the imperial capital of Hoa Lu. Later, during the resistance against the Yuan dynasty, the Trần Dynasty utilized it as the Vu Lam Palace. Today, Trang An retains numerous historical remnants from the Dinh and Tran dynasties.
