What to expect
At 05:00 hrs: Our driver will pick you up and head for Haridwar, which is about a 4-5 hours drive. Haridwar is located in Uttaranchal at a distance of 219 kms from Delhi.
Places to visit in Haridwar: Har-ki-Pauri, Mansa Devi Temple: Along with Chandi Devi temple, Maya Devi temple, it completes the Siddhapeeth Triangle.
Rishikesh is a small town in Uttarakhand. and the town is still known as the World Capital of Yoga.
Places of Rishikesh The Triveni Ghat, Lakshman Jhula, Swarg Ashram.
In the evening during sunset, you will visit Ganga Aarti at Haridwar. It takes place on the other side of the banks where you will see the priests light up the lamps in a clockwise manner, accompanied by songs in praise of Mother Ganga.
Finally, back to Delhi and get dropped at you at around 10pm.

While the trip was a wonderful cultural experience, I was disappointed by the lack of information regarding local dress codes. Agoda did not mention these requirements, which unfortunately led to me being denied entry to several temples. I enjoyed the trip overall, but better communication regarding site-specific rules would have been helpful.
