The free walking tour (modern route) is a bit short in time for me but seeing beautiful architectural designs with lights on at night made it more attractive. Our nice tour guides namely, Pei and Joyce were very accomodating in answering queries, and also provided extra informative spots which is not even part of the destination list.

This tour gave me knowledge of where the clubs, highend places, and yuppie hangouts are located in Taipei. Thanks to Chi & Yang they answered all my queries along the way. You will feel that these facilitators quite love what they are doing even though they have a full time job during daytime.

The highlight of my Taiwan Holiday are the free Walking Tours by ‘Like it Formosa.’ Extremely happy and satisfied to spend my entire day (26k+ steps in total) learning about Taipei’s Historical, Golden and Modern Routes. It was an insightful adventure with the fabulous and intelligent tour guides who are very passionate in telling the country’s story and relating it to the present. Loved how they gave us a glimpse of their lives, whispered inside stories on significant events, further showing us what Taiwan is for today’s youth! Special kudos to Sabrina and Angela for being tireless despite the crazy weather. Sabrina was brighter than sunshine! She was bubbly and energetic the entire time. She exuded confidence, unafraid to voice out her opinions on issues that matter. Indeed, she knows her story. Angela was such a breath of fresh air! She ascertained the right balance of history and story-telling, and what it means to people now. Her insights are fresh and remarkable. Will definitely come back to Taiwan and recommend the tours to everyone I know!
