Sarawak Cultural Village Half Day Tour from Kuching

The trip was enriching and exciting. First hand experience at blow darting and trying out the different delicacies. Note: bring lots of small change of RM5 so that you can purchase the different delicacies at the different houses. Our guide, Mr Yusof was very informative! Oh, we also spotted Silver Langurs at the area. The performance at the theatre was so good!

We had a wonderful experience at Sarawak Cultural Village. Our tour guide, Jacky, was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. He guided us through each of the traditional Sarawak houses, sharing fascinating insights into their history, architecture, and unique cultural heritage. His engaging explanations made the visit both enjoyable and educational. We were warmly welcomed with a traditional cultural dance, which created a wonderful first impression. The stage performances were vibrant, entertaining, and showcased the rich diversity of Sarawak’s ethnic communities with great talent and energy. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kuching - it is an experience not to be missed!

Considering the excellent guide at the Cultural Village, including the transportation from Kuching city, I am very satisfied! An amazing place where culture, history, and nature come together. Walking through the traditional houses and learning about the different ethnic groups was fascinating. The setting itself is stunning, and the cultural show was the highlight. Highly recommended.

It was an educational tour that allowed us to understand the culture of indigenous people in Sarawak. Our tour guide and driver, Mr. Mas Daud was caring, friendly and willing to share his knowledge. One could also try the blowpipe (RM2 for 3 tries) if interested. The mostly outdoor walk to the different housing replica was managable even though it was sunny when we visited. Nonetheless, the stage performance in an aircon theatre was a welcome relief. Recommended especially if you are new to East Malaysia!

There are many indigenous people of Malaysia in this cultural village, and you can learn about the customs and architecture of the local indigenous people. The driver also serves as a tour guide. It is a great itinerary and anyone who is interested in local culture can participate!
