Now while there are trains to get to the different cities of Thailand, you can also opt for a car rental if you’d like that level of personal convenience. But if you can, we advise the more immersive and scenic route of taking the trains and TukTuks!

There’s a lot to visit in Thailand, from the busy districts of Bangkok, to historical and cultural sites in nearby cities. With its rich cultural heritage, there’s no shortage of things to see in your solo travel to Thailand!

In the capital city of Bangkok, you can explore some historical cultural temples like Wat Pho, Wat Arun, the Grand Palace, and the Emerald Buddha. There’s also fun activities like a visit to Safari World to see some of the vast wildlife up close. 

One of the places you can go to is the city of Ayutthaya, a UNESCO World Heritage Center which is not too far away from Bangkok.
