Created in the mid-19th century, the Canal Saint-Martin is a 4.6km stretch connecting the Canal del l’Ourcq to the Seine river. It was created by Gaspard de Chabrol so more public places and walkways can reside on the street areas. Today, it is a lovely tourist spot where Parisians and travelers can take cruises along the canal. This is also the location where Emily and Thomas meet for a double date.

If you’re planning to visit Paris soon, make sure to take this bridge as it will lead you straight to the Champs-Élysées where you can visit the Arc de Triomphe.
